National Do Not Call List

Telemarketers.... you know you hate them. I registered my home phone last month with the National Do Not Call List, and my daily telemarketer calls have all but stopped. The only calls that are allowed now are from charities, politicians and newspapers (No I don't want to subscribe to the Journal) But I recently learned that cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies this month, and we will start receiving sales calls on our cell phones. We will be charged for these calls.
So to prevent this you have to register your number(s). It blocks your number for five years. You can do it online at www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca

Auto Details' Crew Rides

Although Amy’s daily ride is a 2004 Ford Focus, (that is always very dirty)we are going to profile her much cooler 2003 Suzuki Sv650s. This bike has taken her all over the Western States, BC, and most of Alberta. . Her favorite trip to date was to Crater Lake, Oregon in 2007.

Used Audi R8 for sale cheap with couple dings

The Audi R8 is an aspirational item for most, meaning that most will only aspire to own one and never get to park the actual item in their garage. We blame the $118,000 USD price tag, which is even more in other markets, for own own personal inability to attain one. What if someone were selling a slightly used R8 for cheap? This one's for sale in Germany at the going rate of 35,999 EUR, or just about $52,430 USD. Yes, it's been scratched... and the front end completely destroyed, along with the driver's side rear fender. But the glorious 4.2L V8 mounted in the middle is in pristine condition, and that's all that matters, right? Honestly, all kidding aside, not even Cooter could bring this car back to life, which means $52 grand would be a chunk of chump change for what is essentially a large German paperweight.

2008 Edmonton Motorshow

New Lunchroom!

Congratulations Brad and Jessica!

After waiting for what seems like 3 1/4 of a year, Brad's new daughter is finally here! Olivia arrived January 28th at 4:56pm weighing in at 7lb14oz. We are all very happy for Brad and Jessica.

This is cool, an artist in Texas uses dirty cars as his canvas. I still prefer my car clean, and art free though.

I.Q. Test.

This is challenging. It is an I.Q. test that some Japenese companies give to their applicants. It is possible, it took some thought, but I did it. Give it a try.
